Former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso has supported the decision of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) to zone its 2027 presidential ticket to Southern Nigeria.
Speaking during the party’s national convention, Kwankwaso said the move would allow the South complete its turn in leading the country and help promote unity and fairness.
According to him, the zoning arrangement is a chance for national healing and balance in leadership across Nigeria.
He also promised to respect the party’s agreement and support fairness and federal character in the NDC.
Kwankwaso urged Nigerians to register with INEC and also join the NDC to support what he described as a noble cause.
