The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) change of institution and course process for candidates.
In a statement issued on Friday by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the board said candidates seeking to change their institution or programme of choice can now do so by visiting any accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre nationwide.
JAMB stressed that all modifications must be carried out through approved CBT centres to ensure accuracy and avoid errors.
The board also disclosed that printing of the original 2026 UTME result slips will begin on Monday, May 18, 2026.
Candidates were advised to access the service only through accredited CBT centres for result slip printing and related services.
JAMB noted that the move follows the earlier release of UTME results, which were initially available only via SMS checking.
It urged candidates to adhere strictly to official procedures and avoid unauthorised channels.
