Sola Giwa has officially stepped down from his role as Special Adviser on Transportation to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The announcement was made on Wednesday via his official page on X (formerly Twitter), where he confirmed his exit from the administration.
🗣️ “Yesterday, I stepped down from my role as Special Adviser on Transportation to the Governor of Lagos State. It has been an honor to serve and contribute to the transformation of our transport system under the THEMES+ Agenda. I remain grateful to Mr. Governor for the trust and opportunity.”
Giwa’s resignation comes after his involvement in shaping Lagos’ transportation policies under the THEMES+ developmental agenda of the Sanwo-Olu administration.
🔍 While no reason was officially stated for his departure, the move has already sparked conversations within political and policy circles across the state.
