Pelosi’s Dirty Secret: She Knew About Swalwell’s Chinese Spy Ties and Sex Scandals—And Used It as Blackmail

Sen. Josh Hawley dropped a bombshell on Fox News: Nancy Pelosi got an FBI briefing back in 2020 warning that Rep. Eric Swalwell was tangled up with a suspected Chinese spy named Fang Fang. She didn’t act. She didn’t boot him from the Intelligence Committee. Instead, she kept the dirt in her pocket for leverage over her own party.

“She knew all about this! She was briefed by the FBI back in 2020 that the guy was a target of a Chinese spy, Fang Fang,” Hawley said. “She knew that he was a liability. She knew he was a problem. She could use it as leverage until it blew up in her face and now he’s gone.”

Now Swalwell’s political career is toast. Multiple women have come forward with serious sexual assault and misconduct allegations, forcing him to resign from Congress and drop his bid for California governor. The House Ethics Committee was already investigating. Democrats finally ditched their compromised ally when the scandals exploded publicly—not because of national security risks or basic decency, but because he became a liability.

Hawley is fighting back with real accountability. He’s introducing legislation today to strip congressional pensions from any member convicted of a sex offense. No more letting these creeps ride off into retirement on the taxpayer dime.

“This is why Congress needs to pass legislation,” Hawley declared. “I’m introducing it today that would deny pensions to every member of Congress who’s convicted of a sex offense.”

It’s about time. While Swalwell cozyed up to a Chinese operative and allegedly preyed on women, Pelosi protected him for years, weaponizing secrets to control her caucus. This is how the swamp really works—blackmail, cover-ups, and elite immunity. Americans are sick of it. Hawley’s bill is a good start to drain some of the filth and make sure predators like Swalwell don’t get rewarded with fat government checks after destroying trust and endangering security.

No more business as usual in Washington. Pass the bill and clean house.
