The grieving mother of late Oghenemine has revealed that she has now lost two sons to alleged extrajudicial k???ngs by the police.
During a visit by activist Harrison Gwamnishu, the woman disclosed that her first son was arr35ted from their home in 2022 and k???d shortly after police claimed he d!ed in a sh00tout, but that account remains disputed.
Tragically, her second son, Oghenemine Ogidi, was sh0t d34d on April 26, 2026, in Effurun by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Nuhu Usman.
According to the mother, Oghenemine was sent on an errand when he was found with a parcel containing a fire@rm. He reportedly told the officer he had no knowledge of the gvn’s contents, but was sh0t anyway.
“No mother should have to endure this kind of pain twice,” she said.
The incident has intensified calls for police accountability and an end to extrajudicial k!!!!gs in Nigeria.
