The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Delta State chapter, has cleared the air over the viral cancer report linked to Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO.
According to the NMA, the medical report circulating online does not belong to her. They revealed that the document was originally issued to another patient diagnosed with breast cancer and was later altered.
The report was said to have come from Xinus Medical Diagnostics, but the centre has denied issuing any result to Blessing CEO.
The association explained that the original test was done in May 2025 for a different patient and confirmed as a case of breast cancer.
NMA warned the public to be careful and avoid being misled, stressing that such actions could damage the trust people have in medical professionals.
Recall that Blessing CEO had earlier asked the public for financial help, claiming she had stage 4 cancer. However, she later admitted it was a misunderstanding and said she does not have cancer.
Authorities have been urged to take action to prevent misinformation.
