A Nigerian man has reportedly stormed an MTN office in frvstration after his 150GB one-month unlimited data plan was completely exhausted in just six days.
Accompanied by his friend, the visibly 4ngry customer walked into the MTN office to lodge a complaint. He explained that he had purchased a monthly MTN Unlimited plan worth ₦60,000, only for the data to run out in less than a week. He then bought another plan, but struggled to check his data balance.
Further expressing his dissatisfaction, he demanded that the staff immediately show him the remaining balance on the new plan he had purchased just a day earlier. The MTN staff, however, calmly advised him to contact the official customer care line for proper assistance and resolution, rather than handling the issue directly at the office.
The incident, which has since gone viral on social media, has sparked widespread reactions from Nigerians, with many sharing similar experiences of rapid data depletion on so-called "unlimited" plans. Several netizens blamed MTN’s fair usage policy, while others accvsed the network of p○○r transparency in data allocation.
