Iranian Regime Mouthpiece Threatens to Torch the Gulf and Crash the World Economy

University of Tehran professor Seyed Mohammad Marandi, a loud defender of Iran’s Islamic dictatorship, just dropped a chilling warning straight from the mullahs’ playbook.

“Because of Netanyahu and Trump,” he declared, “Iran is preparing to destroy everything in the Persian Gulf — including all critical infrastructure in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Temperatures will rise, the Peninsula will become uninhabitable, and the global economy will crash.”

This isn’t some fringe rant. Marandi is a regime insider who regularly pushes Tehran’s propaganda on international media. His threat comes as Iran faces pressure over ceasefire violations and tries to restrict shipping in the Persian Gulf. Instead of backing down, the regime’s academic attack dog is openly calling for apocalyptic retaliation against Arab neighbors who host U.S. bases and refuse to bow to Iranian terror.

Translation: If the free world pushes back against Iran’s nuclear ambitions, proxies, and aggression, the mullahs will try to burn the region’s oil fields, desalination plants, and ports to the ground — consequences for their own starving people be damned.

These are the same fanatics who chant “Death to America” while their economy collapses under sanctions and mismanagement. They can’t keep the lights on in Tehran, but they fantasize about turning the Gulf into a wasteland and tanking global energy markets.

Strong leadership from Trump and steadfast allies like Israel have exposed Iran’s weakness. Empty threats like this reveal desperation, not strength. The civilized world — especially America’s Gulf partners — should take note: the Iranian regime remains a clear and present danger that rewards only maximum pressure, not appeasement.

Time to keep the boot on their neck before their “preparations” move beyond hot air.
