Influencer Exposes Coachella Parties as Smoke and Mirrors of Entitlement and Misery

Content creator Sabrina Zohar attended Coachella parties for the first time and delivered a blunt assessment of what she found behind the glamorous facade. She described an environment heavy on superficiality, insecurity, and a striking lack of basic manners among many influencers.

Zohar said in full:

"I went to the Coachella parties for the first time in my life, and do you wanna know what they're really like?

There were a couple that were fun. Sure, some of the people are lovely. The food was okay. And there was a kind of mediocre gifting suite.

But for the most part, these parties are fcking smoke and mirrors. The entitlement is through the fcking roof. Some influencers don’t understand what ‘excuse me’ means. They have no problem cutting you off when you try to explain, ‘Hi, excuse me.’ I’m like, ‘Okay, well you can feel free to walk in front of me.’ It’s just no understanding of basic fcking human decency.

Now this is not to say all of them, but for a long time I just kept wondering why am I not invited to these events and why do I want to be in the same room as these people and not seen as an influencer — more of a thought leader — just fit in.

Until I fcking realized: no, I don’t want to be a fcking sheep.

A lot of those people are insecure as all fucking hell, miserable. They can take beautiful photos, make it look like a great time. At the end of the day, baby, they’re just the same. You have a platform — talk about it. And boy oh boy, I left that last party saying, ‘Man, I never want to fcking do this again.’
