Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has boldly declared that he can score against any team after helping Galatasaray defeat Fenerbahçe in the heated Istanbul derby.
Osimhen, who recently returned from a fractured arm injury, scored the opening goal just before halftime after receiving a fine pass from Mario Lemina.
Speaking after the match, the former Napoli star thanked the club’s doctor, Dr. Yener, and the medical team for helping him recover both physically and mentally.
According to him, the support he received gave him the confidence to return stronger.
Osimhen also praised his teammates for their strong performance, especially after their disappointing cup result against Gençlerbirliği.
He said the team fought hard together and deserved the important victory.
Speaking confidently, he added, “I can score against any team. That is my job as a striker, and I do it well.”
The win has pushed Galatasaray seven points clear of Fenerbahçe with only three matches left in the Turkish Süper Lig season.
Osimhen and his teammates are now fully focused on winning the league title, with their next big test coming against Samsunspor.
