A popular matchmaker has expressed deep frvstration after introducing a lady to a man whose dating experience turned into a complete financial and emotional nightmare.
According to the m4tchmaker, after successfully pairing the two, they went on their first date, which cost a hefty ₦200,000. The man reportedly footed the entire bill without any complaints, hoping it was the beginning of a promising connection.
They soon fixed a second date, which ended in total drama. The lady arrived at the restaurant with four of her friends unannounced and proceeded to order lav¡shly, racking up a staggering ₦1,053,000 bill. The man, who was caught completely off guard, could not believe his eyes.
In an attempt to resolve the situation amicably, he offered to pay 70% of the bill while the ladies covered the remaining 30%. The women allegedly refused the offer outright, insisting he pay the full amount, which sparked a heated argument at the table.
Frvstrated and unwilling to be exploited, the man eventually walked away, leaving the lady and her friends to settle the massive bill themselves. The situation reportedly escalated further when the restaurant management seized the lady’s car as collateral after they failed to pay.
The m4tchmaker lamented how such incidents are becoming increasingly common and warned both men and women to be more cautious and transparent about their expectations when going on dates.
