In a recent interview on TVC News, Adebayo Adedosu, Co-founder of Africa Data Warehouse, offered his perspective on Nigeria’s political dynamics ahead of the 2027 general election, focusing on party structures, candidate selection processes, and the behavior of prominent political actors within the opposition space.
He explained that internal party processes such as primaries play a critical role in shaping candidates who eventually emerge for major elections. According to him, participation in such processes reflects a level of political integration, commitment to party ideology, and acceptance of internal democratic mechanisms within political organizations.
