A young Ghanaian woman, Lindain, has returned home after spending two years in Canada seeking better opportunities.
In a video on SVTV Africa, she revealed she moved to Canada in December 2023 and came back in December 2025.
Reflecting on her journey, Lindain said her decision to go abroad was driven by the difficulty of finding a job in Ghana.
She added that she initially got the chance to pursue further studies in a business-related program in Canada.
Speaking about her experience working there, she said, "I finally got a job, but I couldn’t save because I was earning 17 dollars an hour, and from that, I had to pay rent and buy groceries."
Asked about her family and friends’ reactions to her decision to return, Lindain explained, "People wondered why I would move to Canada and then want to come back."
