Nigeria Beat Algeria, Set for Morocco Clash

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have secured a place in the AFCON semi-final after a strong 2–0 victory over Algeria on Saturday evening.

The Nigerian team controlled most of the game, especially in the first half, but had to wait until the second half to score. Defender Calvin Bassey came close early, but his shot was cleared off the line.

After the break, Victor Osimhen opened the scoring with a fine header from a cross by Bruno Onyemaechi. Osimhen later provided an assist as Akor Adams scored the second goal to seal the win.

With this result, the three-time African champions will now face host nation Morocco in the semi-final, as they continue their quest for another AFCON title.
