A Kenyan man, Dan Ambiya, popularly known as “Lampard,” has remarried seven months after the d3ath of his wife, Harriet Eshimuli, sparking mixed reactions online.
Harriet passed away on January 14, 2026, reportedly following a brain tissue rupture linked to blood pressure complications.
Dan’s wedding to his new wife, Olivia, has attracted congratulatory messages from some people, while others have questioned the timing of the remarriage, given that only seven months have passed since Harriet’s d3ath.
However, some Kenyans have defended his decision, arguing that grief is deeply personal and that losing a spouse should not mean remaining without companionship for the rest of one’s life.
Meanwhile, some individuals claiming to be friends of Harriet have alleged that Olivia was already involved in Dan’s life before Harriet’s d3ath and accused him of being unfaithful to his late wife.
One person also claimed that Olivia attended Harriet’s funeral.
The allegations have not been independently verified, while reactions continue to vary over whether seven months is too soon to remarry after losing a spouse.
