‎Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has shared a deeply personal account of her early spiritual journey, revealing that she once planned to become a pastor before walking away from the path.
‎She made this known while speaking in a recent livestream video interview.

‎The actress disclosed that she felt a strong calling to serve God from a very young age and remained actively involved in church life after finishing secondary school.
 
‎According to her, the decision to abandon her plans for ministry at the age of 19 did not erase her deep connection to her faith.

‎The actress added that she believes God intentionally allowed her to pass through difficult seasons to mold her into a bold and resilient individual, stating that her life story reflects a calling that has always been present, even when she tried to run from it.

‎“I’ve always had this calling right from when I was a child. At 19 I was going to be a pastor, until I ran away. I’ve been in church since I left secondary school. So I had always known God intimately and intensely. And I’ve always known I had this calling. If you watch what has happened in my life, it is not ordinary. God called me and needed me to go through all I had to become the firebrand that I am today.”
