Don Jazzy, the renowned music producer and founder of Mavin Records, recently shared his thoughts on relationships following his attendance at Johnny Drille’s concert in Lagos. His comments came after observing couples display affection on stage, sparking curiosity among fans about his own romantic life.
During the concert, Don Jazzy admitted he spent much of the time rolling his eyes at couples hugging, kissing, and dancing, describing the public displays as a bit overwhelming. The moment became even more striking when a man proposed to a woman on stage to be his girlfriend, which Don Jazzy found slightly over the top.
He wrote on social media:
“Last night at Johnny Drille’s concert, I was just rolling my eyes at all the relationship people hǔgging, kïssǐng and dancing. Them too do. Hissss. One guy came on stage and proposed to one babe to be his girlfriend. Not wife o.”
Fans quickly responded, teasing him about his past dating habits. One user claimed that Don Jazzy used to date women secretly, to which he replied humorously that he no longer lived that way and joked about past rumors:
“Are you serious? No, na I don’t do such, you no hear sey them say I be Agege.”
Another fan alleged that he preferred women with fuller figures, referencing his social media profile. Don Jazzy promptly denied the claim, explaining he had moved past that phase of life and shared what he now looks for in a partner:
“For where?? Old spec: na petit dey reign now or slim thick sha.”
When a follower asked if he meant petite women with curves, he responded casually:
