Nigerian singer Waje has opened up about the kind of man she wants to marry.
Speaking on The Honest Bunch podcast, the 45-year-old music star said she can’t date or marry a man who is financially unstable.
According to her, she’s no longer in her 20s and doesn’t have the patience to “build” with a man.
“I can’t marry someone who isn’t successful. A man should lead and inspire me to grow. If he can’t do that, we can’t be partners,” Waje said.
She added that apart from success, faith and emotional intelligence are also important to her.
Waje further explained that she can’t date a younger man because she might end up treating him like a child.
“He would get tired because I might act like a big sister or mother,” she said.
