The pregnant woman who was ban!shed from Ugbema community in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State over alleged thêft has given birth to a baby girl.
According to Benue media personality, Zege Orkwande, after she was sent away from Ugbema on Saturday night, the woman was left stranded with nowhere to go.
Fortunately, a Dangote truck offered her a lift and dropped her in Ameladu, near Gboko Town.
She went into labor the same night and delivered a baby safely inside an uncompleted building.
Orkwande further disclosed that his team located the woman on Sunday night in the uncompleted building close to Gboko.
He added that some well meaning Nigerians have so far donated a total of N120,000 for the mother and baby.
“Our goal is to give her support within our capacity. We pray the baby grow well,” he added.
