Activist and African Action Congress presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has claimed that President Bola Tinubu's government is repeating the same thing they were doing when former presidents Umaru Yar'Adua was sick and when Muhammadu Buhari was sick and was in hospital for a long time.
Speaking in an interview with Arise News, Sowore made this claim when he was asked about controversy over President Tinubu's prolonged absence from Nigeria, while the presidency says Tinubu is hale and hearty, remains engaged in official duties from Europe, and is expected to be back this week.
Sowore said that he was not told about Tinubu’s health condition, but he found out, saying that he has been in the US for the last two weeks monitoring what was happening at the United Nations General Assembly.
