Trump In Salina: The People Who Built America Will Not Be Led By Those Who Hate It

President Trump closed out his final midterm rally in Salina, Kansas with a clear message to the hardworking Americans who have carried the country. Speaking to a packed crowd at the airport, he drew a sharp line between the builders and a party he said has turned against the nation they created.

"A party that hates America cannot be allowed to lead the people who built America," Trump told the audience. "You built America, you know, just in case you have any doubts. And you're too hardworking to think about it. A lot of times you're working too hard, maybe. But you're working hard, and you people built, people like you."

He pointed to the size and energy of the crowds he has seen across the country as proof of a movement that has never been matched. "I've seen it all over the country, the rallies that we've had, unprecedented. There's never been anything like this."

The Salina stop was Trump's 30th and last rally of the 2026 cycle, aimed at turning out voters for Senator Roger Marshall and other Kansas Republicans on Tuesday. The president framed the choice as straightforward: keep the country in the hands of the people who built it, or hand it to a party that rejects what those people created.
