President Trump just dropped one of his classic, unfiltered moments at a rally, and the crowd ate it up. After taking heat for repeatedly calling Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed “Mohamed,” Trump doubled down hard.
“Mohamed Abdul El Sayed. You know, I took a lot of heat for calling him Mohamed, and I said, I don’t care. I’m the President of the United States, I can call you whatever the hell I want,” Trump said. He followed it up with a direct shot: “I can call you whatever I want, Mohamed!”
Then came the punchline. Trump revealed that someone had sent him the candidate’s actual full name. “And then today, a guy sends me something. His name is actually Abdullah something, it’s Abdullah, ba-ba, ba-ba, ba, Mohamed El Sayed. So his middle name is Mohamed, so I was right, almost.”
The room erupted. Trump wasn’t just joking around—he was pointing out that El-Sayed’s real middle name is Mohamed, the same name he’s been using. For months, Democrats and the media have tried to paint Trump’s comments as some kind of attack. Turns out the President was closer to the mark than they wanted to admit.
