The Allied Peoples Movement, APM, candidate for Akure South/North Federal Constituency, Hon. Princess Kemisola Adesanya Oseniyan, has felicitated with constituents on the occasion of Nigeria's 66th Independence anniversary.
In her Independence Day message, Oseniyan extended heartfelt greetings to families, youths, women, artisans, traders, professionals and elders across the constituency as the nation ushers in the month of October.
She noted that Independence is more than a historical date, but a reminder of the collective hope for a nation where every citizen can live with dignity, work with purpose and look forward to a better tomorrow.
The candidate acknowledged the challenging economic realities facing many Nigerians, stating that despite the pressures on families and businesses, hope must not be lost.
"As we begin this new month, may October bring renewed strength, opportunities, peace and prosperity to our homes," she said.
Oseniyan reaffirmed her commitment to people-centred representation, stressing that youths deserve opportunities, women deserve greater support, entrepreneurs and artisans deserve an enabling environment, and every citizen deserves a listening and accountable representative.
"My commitment is to serve with humility, courage and compassion, putting the interests of our people at the heart of representation," she assured.
She called on Nigerians to celebrate not only the nation's journey so far, but also work towards a Nigeria of justice, opportunity, peace, inclusion and shared prosperity.
