Nigeria @ 65: APM Reps Candidate Martha Zamani Musa Preaches Unity, Endorses Reset Agenda

The Candidate of the Allied People's Movement, APM, for Eti-Osa Federal Constituency, Hon. Martha Zamani Musa, has felicitated with Nigerians, particularly constituents of Eti-Osa at home and in the diaspora, on the occasion of Nigeria's Independence Day celebration.

In her Independence Day message, Musa thanked God for His custodianship over the nation and for the resilience of Nigerians, noting that Independence is beyond a calendar date but a constitutional promise that compels nation-builders to pursue dignity, justice and accountable governance.

She described Eti-Osa as a mosaic of diverse cultures and faiths, stressing that diversity remains the constituency's strength and capacity for plural harmony.

"Let us choose unity over division, love over bitterness, and peace over provocation. Let no political manipulation convert disagreement into hostility," she said.

Musa acknowledged the current economic and security challenges facing the nation, stating that they require state capacity, purposeful leadership and measurable accountability beyond rhetoric.

She expressed confidence in the people of Eti-Osa, citing their community spirit, the resilience of youths and women, and the moral authority of traditional and religious leaders.

Speaking on the 2027 general elections, the APM candidate declared support for the Reset Agenda championed by Engr. Seyi Makinde and Mallam Lawal Daura, describing it as a governance doctrine centered on due process, transparent budgeting, people-centred programmes and inclusive representation.

She reaffirmed her commitment to representing Eti-Osa with fidelity to constituency needs and active legislative engagement, while calling for partnership between citizens, institutions and leaders to build a greater Eti-Osa, a stronger Lagos and a more stable Nigeria.

Musa prayed for peace, justice, unity and prosperity for the nation.
