American rapper Nicki Minaj shared that her personal connection to a Nigerian pastor and her Nigerian fans inspired her to speak out about violence against Christians in Nigeria. She stated that her pastor is from Nigeria and she has a large fanbase in the country known as the Barbz.
She expressed deep concern over reports of church attacks, kidnappings, and killings targeting Christians in the country. She addressed the issue during an X Takeover event at Tesla’s Giga Texas facility in Austin, Texas, as well as during a previous appearance at AmericaFest.
Nicki Minaj urged other celebrities and public figures to use their platforms to raise awareness instead of remaining silent.
