TEHRAN, Iran – Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has described prayer as a key weapon in the conflict Iran is currently facing, according to his latest written statement.
Khamenei said prayer plays a central role in “jihad, triumph, and victory” on the battlefield, particularly in what he described as the struggle facing the Iranian nation.
He also claimed that Iran’s military and material capabilities are more prepared than ever, as Tehran faces increased pressure on its oil exports and disruptions involving Iranian tankers.
The statement comes as tensions between Iran and the United States remain high, with Washington maintaining pressure on Iran’s oil trade.
Khamenei has not appeared publicly since taking over as Supreme Leader following the death of his father in March, according to the report.
