Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has challenged bloggers to disclose how much they earn from publishing stories about her, suggesting that they could reach a mutually beneficial agreement following the circulation of a video showing an alleged heated exchange between her and her mother, Rita Daniels.
The controversy began after popular blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus shared a video on Saturday night, October 24, showing the actress involved in a tense verbal confrontation with her mother.
The footage quickly gained traction online, prompting reactions from social media users, some of whom interpreted the exchange as Regina expressing grievances about her upbringing and her relationship with her mother.
Responding to the attention generated by the video, Regina took to her Instagram story to question bloggers about the financial benefits they derive from stories involving her.
The actress proposed a possible arrangement under which she would share more details about her private life in exchange for a percentage of the revenue generated from the content.
She also suggested that her life outside the public eye could offer enough intriguing material to keep audiences interested, adding that she might consider venturing into blogging herself.
“Okay, quick question out of curiosity. Bloggers, how much do you make off my name? I mean, we could negotiate. I give you more info, I get a percentage, and we all win.
Fun fact, you would be so intrigued and glued to my life offline. It’s giving some foreign movie shii, or I might just go into the business since I can do it from the comfort of my home,” she wrote.
Her comments have added another dimension to the online discussions surrounding the video, as attention remains focused on her family life and the reported disagreement with her mother.
