ABUJA, Nigeria – The Federal Capital Territory High Court has ordered Jordan Wike, son of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, to produce his United States passport in an ongoing $2.1 million land dispute.
The claimants, Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited, allege that Jordan agreed to facilitate the acquisition of 30 hectares in Katampe and another 30 hectares in Guzape.
According to the claimants, Jordan allegedly demanded a $2.1 million facilitation fee, with $2 million said to be for his father, Nyesom Wike, and $100,000 described as his personal fee.
They allege that the money was delivered on September 26, 2025, in the presence of Adamu Sani, Aliyu Sarki and Sai Wani, while Jordan was accompanied by one Onor Sandy.
The claimants further allege that after receiving the money, Jordan neither delivered the land nor refunded the funds and subsequently became unreachable.
Jordan Wike has denied all the allegations.
During cross-examination, he reportedly admitted using his U.S. passport to leave Nigeria on the day in question.
The court subsequently ordered him to produce the passport and provide handwriting samples as part of the proceedings.
The case, CV/008/2026, has been adjourned for further proceedings as both sides continue to present their evidence.
