Former Niger Delta militant leader and traditional ruler, Alhaji Mujahid Asari Dokubo, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Monday, October 5, 2026.
The meeting took place at the private residence of the former Rivers State Governor located in the Ada George area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Asari Dokubo, who holds the title of Amanyanabo, was accompanied by a formal delegation. They were received by Wike alongside Honourable Kingsley Chinda (the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate for Rivers State) and several other political associates of the minister.
While specific closed-door discussions were not fully made public, official reports note that Asari Dokubo and his entourage formally extended an official invitation to the FCT Minister for a subsequent formal visit.
