Attorney General Todd Blanche responded sharply to Senator Dick Durbin after the Illinois Democrat demanded a "full accounting" from DOJ and the FBI over alleged efforts involving ballots, election officials, and DHS. Blanche made clear that real concern for fair elections starts with cleaning the rolls, not obstructing the process.
Durbin wrote that "DOJ and the FBI have seized ballots, threatened election officials, and worked with DHS in an attempt to undermine the election administration powers of states." He said he joined colleagues to press the agencies for answers.
Blanche fired back: "Got your letter—after millions of illegal aliens flooded our country for four years and we’ve proven noncitizens and aliens have been voting since then, if you were really concerned about election integrity, you would help this administration clean voter rolls in your state and ensure the votes of millions of American citizens are protected."
