The Senatorial Candidate of the Democratic Leadership Alliance - DLA for Ondo North Senatorial District in the 2027 General Elections, Chief Alex Ajipe, has announced the appointment of Mr. Aladesanmi Oyekanmi as his Spokesperson.
In a press statement personally signed and released on Saturday, Chief Ajipe described the appointment as a strategic step toward building a campaign that is transparent, people-focused, and responsive to the yearnings of Ondo North.
Mr. Oyekanmi is an ace broadcaster and professional journalist with over 20 years of experience in broadcast journalism, public communication, and media management. He is widely respected for his credibility, clarity, and deep understanding of issues affecting Ondo State and Nigeria.
According to the DLA Candidate, Mr. Oyekanmi will work closely with the Campaign Council to drive effective policy communication, ensure timely media engagements, and strengthen the relationship between the campaign and the people of Ondo North.
"Ondo North can no longer settle for silence," Chief Ajipe stated.
"The era of true representation is here. We need voices that understand our people, and professionals who can articulate our vision for development, security, and good governance."
Chief Ajipe reaffirmed that the DLA structure remains strong and active across the six Local Government Areas of Ondo North Senatorial District - Akoko North-East, Akoko North-West, Akoko South-East, Akoko South-West, Ose, and Owo.
He further disclosed that the Campaign Council will be announced soon.
"The Council will proactively unveil the plans and determination of purpose for the real voters and lovers of progress in Ondo North," he said.
