Bori, headquarters of Khana Local Government Area and a major centre of Ogoni, is set to host the Ogoni Arise Music Concert 2026, a cultural and entertainment event aimed at promoting unity, remembrance and peaceful coexistence among the Ogoni people.
The event, scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, 2026, will be organised by the Executive Chairman of Khana Local Government Area in conjunction with Triple 3 Entertainment.
The announcement was made by Lexy M., Special Adviser to the Executive Chairman of Khana Local Government Area on Entertainment and Performing Arts.
The event is proudly supported by Chief Lesi Maol, President of KAGOTE.
According to the organisers, the concert will bring together Ogoni musicians, cultural performers, comedians, poets and other entertainers for an evening celebrating Ogoni culture and the contributions of people keeping the Ogoni dream alive.
The programme is also expected to feature an awards presentation recognising outstanding Ogoni sons and daughters for their contributions to the development and promotion of Ogoni.
The organisers described the event as more than an entertainment programme, saying it would provide an opportunity for people to remember Ogoni heroes while renewing their commitment to a peaceful, united and progressive Ogoniland.
With the theme centred on “One Ogoni, One Voice, One Future,” the organisers are calling on Ogonis and visitors to participate in the celebration.
The concert is expected to commence at 6:00 p.m. in Bori and will feature live music, cultural displays, comedy, poetry and other performances.
