"I Don't Care If 2 Million People Unfollow Me" – VDM Reacts to Alleged Loss of 13,000 Instagram Followers

Nigerian social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has reacted to claims that he lost about 13,000 Instagram followers amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the P-Square family dispute.

Addressing the reported drop in his following, VeryDarkMan dismissed the development, insisting that losing followers would not affect his influence or the way he expresses his opinions.

He recalled facing similar backlash during previous controversies involving Wizkid and the late Mohbad, claiming that attempts to silence or discredit him in the past only made him more influential.

According to VDM, even if more people unfollow him over the P-Square saga, he believes the situation will ultimately strengthen his influence.

He said:

“I don’t care! What are the 13,000 people doing for me? 2 million should go; I don’t care. You have done this before during the time of Wizkid. If one million no comot I will be surprised. But you have to take this home. If you people are not able to beat me, I become more powerful and more influential. It happened during the time of Mohbad, all of you against me and I became more influential. All this one wey una dey gather, if e no work, I’ll become more powerful.”

His remarks have since generated mixed reactions online, with supporters praising his confidence while critics maintained that public figures should be held accountable for their opinions and involvement in sensitive issues.
