A Nigerian businesswoman released an emotional video after purportedly losing ₦10 million invested through a contribution scheme. The failure has destroyed her aspirations to expand her firm.
In an emotional video posted on X (previously Twitter), she stated that the money was not intended for extravagance or personal delight, but rather to expand her factory following months of hard work and sacrifice.

“I never knew a time would come when I would make this kind of video. For some people, the money might be small, but I know how hard I worked for it. This month was supposed to be my turn.
I was meant to receive ₦10 million. It wasn’t for a new car or a luxury lifestyle. It was for my factory. It was for my growth.”
The woman bemoaned that she had wasted the entire amount she had been saving since last year since the coordinator reportedly neglected to pay her.
She revealed that she has already reported the incident to the police, but she has yet to recover the money, leaving her distraught and worried about her business expansion plans.
“Just like that, the ₦10 million I’ve been saving since last year was gone. The coordinator has not paid my money. The matter has been reported to the police, but I still haven’t recovered what belongs to me,” she added.
