Akure, Ondo State — The APC Mandate Group, Ondo State Chapter, has congratulated the newly elected All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the Senate, House of Representatives, and State Assembly seats, describing them as “some of the finest political leaders in the country.”
In a strongly worded statement released on Sunday, the influential group expressed confidence in the capacity of the flagbearers to provide exceptional representation and drive meaningful development across the state.
The group gave special commendation to the governor for what it described as “visionary leadership” that produced a free, fair, and credible primary election. It also praised the Ondo State APC Chairman for his “dedication, discipline, and statesmanship” throughout the process.
“We are one big, united family in the APC,” the statement read. “We urge our flagbearers to be magnanimous in victory and call on all primary participants to place the interest of the party above personal ambitions as we march towards total victory in the forthcoming general elections.”
Citing the overwhelming popularity of one of the winners in the direct primary in Okitipupa/Irele federal constituency and the impact of younger generation in leadership, the group admired and laid credence to Dr. Olu Daramola (DOD) as a superfit. And a voice for the younger generation.
Political observers view the statement as a strategic move to foster unity within the APC in Ondo State following the primaries, sending a clear signal of reconciliation and collective purpose ahead of the polls in line with presidential directives.
The APC Mandate Group is widely regarded as a key stakeholder bloc within the ruling party in the state.
