Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has appreciated her husband, High Chief Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, for supporting her political ambition ahead of the 2027 Kogi Central Senatorial election.
The lawmaker shared the message on her verified Instagram page, @natashaakpoti, where she posted photos of herself and her husband holding Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nomination documents.
In her statement, Akpoti-Uduaghan revealed that her husband personally purchased her 2027 senatorial nomination form. She noted that she would not have taken the step toward contesting the election if he had not supported the decision.
According to the senator, his action reflected belief in her vision and commitment to the people of Kogi Central. She also stated that his support gave her confidence to continue the political journey toward the 2027 elections.
Akpoti-Uduaghan further reflected on the challenges encountered during the 2023 elections, saying her husband chose courage, faith, and purpose despite difficult moments. She praised his steadfast support and described him as someone who understands the sacrifices and responsibilities attached to public service.
The senator concluded her message by thanking him for standing beside her and believing in their shared dream of contributing to national development through democratic leadership.
