Reality TV star and BBNaija winner, Phyna, has stirred reactions online after boldly declaring that she has no desire to have children — despite saying she is “very fertile.”
Speaking during a livestream, Phyna made it clear that motherhood, in the traditional sense, is not part of her life plan.
“I just want to be a mom — a cat and dog mom,” she said.
She emphasized that her stance isn’t due to any biological limitation, adding:
“I’m very fertile… but I just don’t even want to have a child.”
Phyna also shared a deeper perspective, suggesting that some women naturally gravitate toward pets as companions, especially after going through emotional experiences or difficult relationships.
According to her, this shift often happens as women approach their 30s:
“Maybe you’ve been through too many broken relationships… women tend to start developing likeness for pets like that.”
She concluded by saying she believes she’s currently in that phase of her life — where the love and companionship of animals feel more fulfilling than raising children.
