Married woman shares her dilemma after discovering she is pregnant for a man she met during a trip to Nigeria, sparking reactions online

"Please don’t judge me. So, last December I travelled to Nigeria. I was supposed to go with my family, but plans changed, so I went alone. Before that day, something had come up between me and my husband. We had an argument, on the very day I was travelling to Nigeria, something led to another and the whole issue escalated.
When I got to the airport, I wasn’t happy. I was in the plane feeling moody and quiet. There was this man sitting beside me. He noticed my mood and tried to start a conversation with me. At first, I didn’t answer him, but later I did. We started talking until we got to Nigeria.

When we arrived at the airport in Nigeria, he told me his driver could drop me off since there was no one to pick me up. From there, we exchanged numbers and started talking. One day, he asked if I would be free to come to his place because he was having a get-together with his family. I went, and he introduced me to his son and other family members. He was very nice to me.

After that day, he kept checking up on me to know if I was fine. Two days before I was supposed to travel back, I stopped picking his calls. When I got back to the UK, he sent his friend to me and gave him my workplace address. When the man came, he handed me an envelope and left.

I opened it and saw £10,000 inside, then I called him to tell him what I saw. He said he actually wanted to give it to me before I travelled, but I stopped picking his calls. I said no problem, and we started talking again every day.

Later, I fell sick and went for a test. That was when they told me I was pregnant. I was shocked because my second child is already 9 years old. When I had him, I also had surgery for fibroids, and since then I haven’t been able to conceive.

When I calculated the dates, I realised the pregnancy doesn’t belong to my husband. It belongs to the man in Nigeria. My husband has been happy since he heard the news, he has been taking care of me and pampering me.

The problem is, this pregnancy doesn’t belong to him. I don’t know if I should tell the man in Nigeria or just pretend it's my husband's child. I’m really confused. Please advise me…”
