The Adamawa State High Court has struck out the case instituted against the state government over the creation of Fufore Emirate.
Delivering the ruling, Justice Musa Usman declared that the case was struck out due to the plaintiff's failure to file a pre-action notice as required by law.
Justice Usman also held that the court lacked jurisdiction to entertain the suit due to the litigant's failure to follow the proper procedure.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the ruling, Barrister Leonard Zadon, along with his colleagues who appeared as counsel for the first, second, and fourth defendants, explained that the case was struck out because the complainant failed to establish a prima facie case, specifically proving that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the State House of Assembly did not follow the necessary steps in creating the Emirate.
