Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has reacted angrily to reports claiming he owes a wedding planner $50,000.
The allegation, which went viral on social media, linked Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, CEO of the company said to have handled Davido and Chioma’s wedding, to an alleged unpaid bill.
Screenshots of a supposed chat, including threats of legal action, also circulated online.
Reacting on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday evening, Davido dismissed the claim and described the situation as crazy.
“This is just crazy atp,” the singer wrote.
The singer’s reaction has further fueled online conversations as fans continue to debate the authenticity of the allegation.
