‎Super Eagles rise 12 places in latest FIFA rankings


‎The Super Eagles have jumped up to 26th place in the latest FIFA World Ranking released on Monday.
‎It is a remarkable 12-place jump for the Nigeria national team.
‎Eric Chelle’s men climbed from 38th following an impressive outing at the 2025 AFCON in Morocco, where they finished third overall.
 
‎The Super Eagles are now the third-best team in Africa, behind AFCON winners Senegal, ranked 12th globally, and Morocco, placed eighth in the world.
‎Algeria and Egypt occupy fourth and fifth positions, respectively on the African ranking.
‎Meanwhile, Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Croatia make up the world’s top 10 teams.
