The former executive Governor of Rivers State and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Rotimi Amaechi has reacted after he had meeting with ADC representatives from 19 northern states on Tuesday.
The former Minister of Transportation and former chieftain of the All Progressives Congress noted that he also met with patriotic citizens from the 19 northern states.
Recall that Rotimi Amaechi, former Rivers State Governor and Minister of Transportation, joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in January 2026, citing Nigeria's economic struggles.
Amaechi's move is part of a broader opposition coalition, including former Vice President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, aiming to unseat President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
The ADC has welcomed prominent figures, with David Mark as interim National Chairman and former executive Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola as Secretary.
