Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has accused some top Afrobeats stars of preventing other musicians from rising in the music industry.
Speaking in a video shared on his social media page, the Zazu crooner mentioned Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, and Burna Boy, saying they have dominated the industry for over ten years.
According to Portable, the continued dominance of the stars is making it difficult for new artistes to break through and become successful.
He also accused them of exaggerating the value of their expensive jewelry, claiming that some items they flaunt may not have been bought by them.
Portable added that the constant display of wealth puts unnecessary pressure on upcoming musicians.
The singer said he would continue to speak out if things do not change in the industry.
