Popular Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, has spoken about what he described as the growing problem of cultism in the Nigerian music industry.
According to him, only a few artists, including himself, have not joined any cult group. He mocked those who joined cults in search of power and protection, saying it is ironic that even the people who introduced them to cultism still move around with police escorts.
Naira Marley shared his thoughts on social media, saying the number of artists who are not cult members in the industry is very small.
The singer also reminded the public that he is not a cultist. He added that he was once threatened by cult members because he refused to join them.
