Masked Soldiers Raid Bobi Wine’s Home, Family Assaulted, Wife Isolated

A group of masked, armed soldiers on Thursday allegedly broke into the residence of Ugandan opposition figure Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine, assaulted members of his family, and isolated his wife, Barbie Kyagulanyi, under unclear circumstances.

Bobi Wine disclosed the incident in a statement, saying the soldiers forced their way into the house, beat up his family members, and separated his wife from others in the home. He said the motives behind the operation were not immediately known.
