Osafile, who represents Amuwo-Odofin Constituency I, confirmed the move on Saturday, saying her decision was aimed at better serving her people.
According to her, joining the ADC will help her work more effectively for the development and future of her constituents.
She promised to work closely with ADC leaders to promote good governance and ensure that the voices of ordinary Nigerians are heard.
Osafile also assured residents of Amuwo-Odofin that she remains committed to their trust and welfare.
The lawmaker, who was elected in 2023 on the Labour Party platform, is expected to officially announce her defection during plenary in the coming days.
