Lagos Father Demands Justice After Nine-Month-Old Twins Allegedly Die Following Immunisation

A Lagos man, Samuel Alozie, is calling for justice after his nine-month-old identical twin boys, Testimony and Timothy, allegedly died barely 24 hours after receiving routine immunisation at a primary health care centre in the state.

The grieving father shared an emotional video on TikTok, showing the twins’ bodies in body bags, an action that has sparked public anger and concern on social media.

According to Alozie, the babies became weak and inactive shortly after they were given the injection. He said he followed all the instructions given by the nurse, including giving them paracetamol, but their condition did not improve.

He explained that the twins, who were said to be healthy before the immunisation, died on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025.

“They were strong and healthy. I only took them for immunisation because it was the right thing to do,” he said. “After the injection, they became very weak. By the next morning, both of them were gone.”

Alozie rejected claims allegedly made by the health centre that the babies died due to food-related bacteria, insisting that something went wrong during the immunisation process.

He also expressed fear that the investigation may not be transparent because the health centre is a government facility. The father appealed for legal help and public support, saying he cannot fight the case alone.
“I am scared I may not get justice. I need justice for my children,” he said.

As of the time of this report, the Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Primary Health Care Board have not released an official statement or the autopsy results.
