The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has urged all Igbo people, especially those in Abia State, to stop the political alliance between Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu if they want peace and progress in the region.
IPOB spokesman Emma Powerful warned that the duo’s politics could take Abia State back to the difficult times before Governor Alex Otti’s administration, undoing years of progress.
The group accused some APC politicians of trying to weaken South East Nigeria, using networks of influence built over decades. IPOB called on Ndigbo to be cautious and protect the state’s current growth.
