A man in Taraba State has reportedly divorced his wife, Mrs. Ramatu Abbas, following her alleged attack on a 17-year-old girl in Donga Local Government Area.
Mrs. Abbas was recently remanded at the Wukari Correctional Centre by a Chief Magistrate Court in Donga over allegations that she assaulted the teenager, Iwasen Terhemba, with a razor blade after accusing her of having an affair with her husband.
The incident has generated widespread public outrage and concern within the community.
The court ordered that the suspect remain in custody pending further police investigation and adjourned the case to a later date.
