According to data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ghana cedis has emerged as Africa's best-performing currency in 2025.
The reports suggest that the cedi appreciated by more than 40% against the dollar in 2025.
This comes after the IMF's full-year assessment covering more than 20 major economies on the continent.
